QUICKPOST: Biodegradable Clothes?!
https://www.wired.co.uk/article/biodegradable-clothes-fast-fashion
Surely in history most clothes have been biodegradable, because they were made of organic materials such as leather, wool, linen, silk. The fact that the idea of biodegradable clothes is today considered radical indicates how far we have strayed in our modern world from the simple sustainability that has er, sustained our race for millennia. Furthermore, how incredibly short-sighted was it that the world of fashion/fashion retailers ever embraced fabrics created from petrochemicals? So often in our supposed modern “progress” we have shown ourselves to be incredibly backward 🙁
